I am sure as a reader you have either watched Playing Games with Snat, heard about it or have found this link via Google as you are doing your own Lets Play or having problems overlaying audio with footage.
If you are having this problem then carry on reading and if not, why are you here?
The main problem most people have (and the same one I did) is assuming that the audio is recorded as a fix length of time – aka if you recorded 30 minutes of gaming footage and 30 minutes of commentary that it will overlay without any problems. This is not exactly true as I have discovered sampling is what really matters and then secondly making sure audio is recorded without any skips. Continue reading →
After quite a long delay with Tweaked for your Viewing Pleasure I am pleased to say it is now coming back although it will no longer be weekly as originally planned but “as and when”.
Tweaked for your Viewing Pleasure will be coming back in two forms – the reviews and the rants which both have their own style of editing and other things I am sure you do not care about.
For the reviews I will be carrying on as I normally have – just get something, whack it in front of the camera and then review it in a half arse way – much like how Dr Ashens does them which is what my reviews are influenced by. The next one though is the rants and honestly I figured I would go back to the original idea I had for them – allow people to give ideas! Continue reading →
Okay so you have seen a series like Playing Games with Snat and maybe you have thought – I would love to do one of these myself and have looked up and seen there is millions of ways to do it. Well you are in a bit of luck as due to me not having anything to speak about, I decided to talk about how I got around the problems I had.
I should note that I went down a hardware route as I do console games but I do also use the same setup for PC games in the future. This guide will assume you have nothing so far, not even a PC, but relax as I will even explain that. I will also note the price for it all but it may not exactly be cheap but where possible, I will link to cheaper or free places. Continue reading →
The review has been updated based on the United Kingdom’s release of Final Fantasy XIII-2. I am sure anyone that has a brain and who reads Tweaked for your Pleasure would have worked out I would end up doing a Final Fantasy XIII-2 review and with the power of importing, here is the review. The game is based after the events of what happened in Final Fantasy XIII so if you have not completed that, complete it first as it will make sense.
Game play wise, it does play much like Final Fantasy XIII but and I will repeat this once, does not feel the same and unlike Final Fantasy X-2 and Final Fantasy IV: The After Years etc this game actually feels like it is a game on its own and can stand against the game before it. Continue reading →
Well seeing I now have a review section on Tweaked for your Pleasure that is out-of-the-way from people who does not like reading the news or reviews, I may as well write a few reviews now and then while I come up with avoiding writing rants.
Final Fantasy VI Advance
So to talk start I am going to review a remake of my favorite game – Final Fantasy VI Advance.
Now for those that has been following Playing Games with Snat you will know that it is a remake of the original Super Nintendo game called Final Fantasy VI (Final Fantasy III to those that live in the United States although all future re-releases used the correct number). The game is about the Gestahlian Empire which has the power of Magitek and is slowly taking over the world until a young girl called Terra is freed from their control. Terra ends up into the group called The Returners who then goes on to protecting their home, then all the way to protecting the Espers from the Empire until the world is destroyed and what happens after this I am not going to ruin for you.
