There is a common disbelief that someone must be drinking alcohol to be a fun person to hang out with and if someone does not like alcohol then there is something wrong with them – even though the same people who say that never originally liked alcohol which comes to the question why?
Well I can answer that one easily. First most people will claim that alcohol is an acquired taste and thus keep saying you must keep drinking it before you will enjoy it. Well, why most people are like this is simple – they were “forced” by the power of peer pressure to do so believing the best way to have fun is simply just to keep drinking. (more…)
Back when IRC first came around it allowed people to contact another person in real-time and sometime later, Instant Messaging such as MSN, GTalk and others were born. Over time these IM clients involved to run on just about anything that has a connection to the Internet and thus with this people started to get used to being able to contact anyone at any time and expect a reply back right away.
I am sure everyone knows that person who will always keep sending messages when you do not reply in less than a microsecond. I am sure you also know the ones that if you do not reply in a nanosecond they say: (more…)
My name is Joshu and I am contact you on behalf of Matishy Legal deparment in regards to taking down your article of hate caled “Not for Sale” (http://snat.co.uk/2010/not-for-sale.html). We are expecting to edit your website to show that you are wrong.
Faiing to act upon this notice will mean your domain will be taken and pased to the afected person.
I would first like to say sorry about all the distress I have caused your client. I always follow any request for censorship even when it’s a company name and not some actual Government legal agency as I know fully well how important it is to keep a good image. Due to how my backend works for Tweaked for your Pleasure, is it just possible to edit this article rather then taking it down ? (more…)
The Internet has given society many wonderful things. It has allowed the World Wide Web to work, allows files to be transferred and so much more but has it really gotten to a point where everything we do has to be done online.
The first example is Facebook. I am aware lately so many people are moaning, begging even, about being accepted on my Facebook account or I simply am not friends with them. I am not sure how that works but surely that must mean I chat and only do social things with my friends online. In fact, let me find out. (more…)
The problem with faster and faster Internet connections is that people have come to expect more and more images, audio and videos on websites that it has got to the point in which we webmasters have to spend more and more money on bandwidth !
While this is to be expected, it is quite a sad fact that these new content such as audio, videos etc do not really bring in much of an income so I am here today to give YOU some of the best tips in keeping your bandwidth down.
Images are one of the main reasons for such a high bandwidth usage. So what we do is make images smaller and compressed them and the user experience do not actually change. Below is a normal sized image and to the side is another image showing the image using my tips. (more…)
Well, it is very rare that I have ever done a review on an actual company before but I have to say, first time a company has impressed me enough for me to actually write a review.
So, let take a jump back abit. As you may know, my HP Pavilion dv9000 fucked up a while back and there was a time I just disappeared of the Internet. Well after alot of phone calls, e-mails and a letter to HP that we didn’t get anywhere. However, instead the laptop was sent to Ixtreme Repairs Ltd to repair.
Ixtreme Repairs Ltd offers motherboard repairs and after I sent them an e-mail, I got a reply back from Terry. By the look for it, it may be a one man show but regardless, the customer service is wonderful. While it can take some time to get a reply (I have always e-mail at odd hours though) the repair work is solid. (more…)
Well, I might as well post this seeing I have used it for a while now I thought I would do an article on it and what I felt about it.
To be honest that to start with IntenseDebate didn’t suit any of my needs at all but now using it overtime, it got to a point in which I honestly can’t see nothing wrong with it and don’t know why I removed it the first time anymore. I first looked into IntenseDebate after I installed the WordPress plugin qTranslate to have Tweaked for your Pleasure in both English and Hebrew.
Sadly, over some time, the comments started to merge into English and Hebrew. This was because qTranslate couldn’t support comments in two languages so it never had an idea on how to do that so it just displayed them both. While this was fine for people whom could read both languages, my “visitors” got to the stage where neither of the two could read the other language. (more…)
Social Networks are a place to meet people that you might never ever know and that is true, you never know who the other person is on the other side. With the likes of Facebook and MySpace, it is so easy to be accepted as a friend on their profile.
Basically, what this means (Not including limited view on Facebook right now) is that you can see whatever details they have put such as birthdays. If you remember of that last post I did, that was a key on getting access to someone domain etc. (more…)
