Potty Council

As much as everyone else in the United Kingdom, I completely love the HM Government* and this I also love our local councils but sometimes I really do wonder if they make choices based on a few illogical choices made while high while dancing around in a room naked while summoning some dark lord dolphin to random decide what they should do … or something like that.

Basically where I live the main road that is actually used here was damaged with tons of pot holes that I feel sorry for anyone that tries to ride a motorcycle on that road.

After the local council decided to spend a few million of pounds to change what is basically two roads (it was a market place) so that there is less free parking place for some really odd reason when there is a lack of free parking in the town to start with. Anyway after this was approved in the local town, they decided to go ahead with the pot hole repairs.

Inbox (4259)

While I am fully aware there are roughly a few people waiting for me to actually reply to my e-mails, I thought I would finally get around to have look at my e-mails …, my former Ellisfamily.TK e-mails of course.

Just like addresses and phone numbers, e-mail addresses is now often used as the core of people’s communications (some may debate social networks is now the most used online communication for personal usage but same applies) and just like addresses and phone numbers that once you change them there is always someone who will never use the new one or just don’t know about them. In this case, there is 4259 different people, companies or whatever that is not using my new address (likely because I never given it to them).

Public Transport: For when you want to get pissed off

So many years ago (to lazy to research) that HM Government brought in a public bus transport and other transport systems so that the whole public is able to get around the whole country such as going to work, college and so fore, for a fee of course.

Snat-Where-I-live Before I get onto the actual rant, I am just going to talk about the most useless transport in England – The London Underground. Fuck sake is all I can say about that. Basically what you do is get a ticket and you can go to another station and at times you have to keep switching undergrounds to get to where you actually want to go.

Tis is the season … of gift voucher

Ahh yes, December the time in which everyone does the very last of their Hanukkah/Christmas/Whatever shopping. Sure, there are tons of great stuff you can buy at very low cost and that is may many do leave it until the end but naturally there is always that one person you can never remember and at the last day you remember that they exist and even worst, they gotten you something (or they are a child or something and you just have to buy them something for the sake of it).

  • Do not bother
  • Get that "last" minute gift

Do not bother

The first one is that you can just go "oh well" and then just don’t bother with this. When you do this, people tend to just moan at you or something like that and then for the next few months you are known as the person whom didn’t get that person something. Sure that isn’t a bad thing but not everyone likes being known like that. While children do tend to forget about it quickly, they are also the ones that don’t understand. But lets say for a few minutes that you didn’t get them something because you simply didn’t have any money to do so. Adults (well, most but not all) will understand and wouldn’t expect anything in return but merely to offer joy (one of the meanings of Christmas) but children do not understand.

Most children do not understand about money. In the research I have done, most children believes that that money "just comes out the hole in the wall" and unless taught at an very early age, a lot of these children will grow up believe money will just come to them and we have all seen what happens. But going back a bit, even if you just forgot about it that the children will still cry about it as they always think it is about them but anyway children isn’t the point of this article.

So if not bothering isn’t your thing, then there is one more option that never fails which now leads me too…

Get that "last" minute gift

I am sure we all know those shops that are always open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days of the year and they always seem to sell those little toys for a couple of pounds. For children that are not your own, these tends to do (coming from experience) but children belongs to you or children that are children of family friends always seems to want that "one big gift" that cost always seems to go up each year. But for adults, they are always happy to just get something that they can unwrap.

So which leads me onto what both adults and children likes – gift vouchers. Children loves them because they are able to buy something that they want such as a game or something and adults love them because they can spend it on something they actually like. Gift vouchers also helps because it stops the likes of people going in a few days later returning that gift they didn’t like but just nodded because they had to be polite.

Also, with the e-vouchers becoming very well known with companies like Apple and Amazon, it got to the stage where what people actually want – you can just click and order online and get within a few minutes which you can then often print out or e-mail.

Sure, it defeats the feel of surprise but to be honest, it is only children that tends to like that but on the other hand, they tend to already know because they told Santa 😉

This article is NOT RELATED to me trying to order a Amazon Gift Voucher last night for a gift for a female whom name I have used so many times in Tweaked for your Pleasure in quite a few "bad ways" I am surprised she even still says hi to me !

Reason for hating most forum users…

Imagine for a few minutes. You are having a good chat on a forum about something and some user comes along and ruin it all. Yes, I am talking about that 12 year old child whom believes he had worked out the whole of life and knows everything but once you challege the person, it always goes something like this …. (the follow is an example, not a real life one though).

Well, you see that it ain’t even possible at this time to prove. To be honest, if you can tell me on how it all relates together then I would be very interested in reading it.
