The hardest part of losing weight

While I will be writing an article that will be published near the end of this year regarding my weight loss, the diet I am trying and the changes I have made overall that today I am writing about something else I find about losing weight and what I think is the hardest part of the whole process – the people you know.

While I understand that people should not be ashamed about their weight there is this sense that everyone around you doesn’t want anything to change and should you start to change your diet and tell people about it that everyone has a reason why you shouldn’t be doing it, why it won’t work, why you can still go out and eat with them and so on where otherwise you just want them to shut the fuck up.

I have found out that should you refuse to eat something because you simply do not want to eat it (Afterall simply not eating the calories is better than having to exercise to get rid of it) that automatically people will comment that you should not be starving yourself and that you must eat something.

With this in mind, I can’t help but think that there are many people out there that would rather people stay overweight simply so they can say there is nothing they can do about it and that there is no point in even trying. This is a bad habit and something that only puts yourself and other people down.

Seriously, while exercising does burn calories, simply not eating the calories in the first place is far better and if someone is trying to lose weight and refusing to eat something they don’t flip out on them saying they must eat – that’s your problem.

People must get over the idea that you must eat everything for survival and that maybe and I say this a bit forcefully that someone doesn’t always want to eat as you do and that if someone tells you no that it means no. At the end of the day, the only way to lose weight is to eat fewer calories than you use a day and pressuring someone to eat ruins that if you are someone that going to keep pressuring someone to keep eating then you can just fuck off out to the nearest door.
