Tweaked for your Listening Pleasure

Just a bit of news today. First thing first, Tweaked for your Listening Pleasure has officially opened although there is a lot of work left to do in its actual planning. It is currently playing loads of things you likely never heard of before and in future, will have some shows from people you do not care about.

So come on over and listen and all that good stuff.

The second thing is a tiny poll. If you float around on the Facebook or Twitter fan pages, you may notice there is a picture of a puppet of a dolphin which is nameless. If you have any ideas of any names, please do post them in the comments below and I will whack up a poll with the names.

A day without the Internet

The Internet has given society many wonderful things. It has allowed the World Wide Web to work, allows files to be transferred and so much more but has it really gotten to a point where everything we do has to be done online.

The first example is Facebook. I am aware lately so many people are moaning, begging even, about being accepted on my Facebook account or I simply am not friends with them. I am not sure how that works but surely that must mean I chat and only do social things with my friends online. In fact, let me find out.

Inbox (4259)

While I am fully aware there are roughly a few people waiting for me to actually reply to my e-mails, I thought I would finally get around to have look at my e-mails …, my former Ellisfamily.TK e-mails of course.

Just like addresses and phone numbers, e-mail addresses is now often used as the core of people’s communications (some may debate social networks is now the most used online communication for personal usage but same applies) and just like addresses and phone numbers that once you change them there is always someone who will never use the new one or just don’t know about them. In this case, there is 4259 different people, companies or whatever that is not using my new address (likely because I never given it to them).

Anti-everything bastards

What is wrong with this world. It seems that everyday there is always someone bitching about getting rid of something just because it is slightly different to their views of it. While the United Kingdom is not the same as the United States in which you can just sue someone because they looked at you but over here, we just have people bitching.

Do not get me wrong as there are some worthy things to debate against such as lowering fees on PayPal donations but come on, do you really need to setup a anti group just because you tripped on the road and hurt yourself because you was drunk and just do not want to look like a loser so you go blaming everything else ?

Well of course you are not going to admit you just suck so you start a group (very often on Facebook with the name like this: IM AGANEST NOT PANETNG AL TEH ROADS PINK AS IT DOES NOT LOK CUTE!!11111! WTF LOL). After some time, the group will gain a lot of members whom does not actually give a fuck but rather just joining it as they have nothing better to be doing with their time at it is at this time, the creator of that group will create a website.

Thing is though, when will people learn that no one actually gives a shit about your anti-whatever group and even more so if it is a Facebook group. Really, no one actually gives a shit that you think that something should be stopped. If you actually want to change something, actually go out there and lobby someone arse until the people that can make a differences actually gives a shit. Do not just go on Facebook and expect the world to jump on.

Umm, makes me wonder. Is this article an anti-anti people or a Facebook rant. Well, we will never know or care. Speaking of which, I got an idea. Let’s start an anti-anti people group to say to those people whom creates anti-groups because of whatever they fucked up on and do not want to look bad that we do not actually give a shit. Just do not do it on Facebook though or any other social network sites.

Man, I do hate social networking at times.

Social Fraud – Getting quite easy nowadays

Well, this post in a direct reply to yet another blog post that I written and that was about Facebook being the home of forgotten passwords.

Social Networks are a place to meet people that you might never ever know and that is true, you never know who the other person is on the other side. With the likes of Facebook and MySpace, it is so easy to be accepted as a friend on their profile.

Basically, what this means (Not including limited view on Facebook right now) is that you can see whatever details they have put such as birthdays. If you remember of that last post I did, that was a key on getting access to someone domain etc.

Facebook – The home of forgotten passwords and details

This was done in a hurry, so any spelling mistakes, please don’t bother me with.

As you may know that Facebook is a social network website in which people can contact other people (Such as friends) and interact with them. On Facebook people can add apps which add many new things onto the person Facebook profile such as interactive games, quizes and many other random things which stops people from doing work or whatever they were doing before hand.

When somebody adds an app that it gives access to that app access to your personal details that you likely have inserted into Facebook. That app can record all your details into a database and the creator of that app can then do whatever the person wants to do with it (Didn’t say “legally”).
