The world is not a fair place. It never has been nor will it ever be. Alot of people in our world tends to either want it all or have none of it. What I mean by this is that those people do not want to settle for something in between. This can be about anything – religion, relationship, items whatever you can think off. For some reason, they just ca not settle with something in between.
Take students for example that wanted everything in everything and if he did not get that, it was the end of the world for him. He wanted everything or nothing. What I failed to see what was wrong with not having everything ? Maybe it was due to grades he needed or something but needing everything for everything, I fail to see which place actually wants A’s in everything. I am sure they would rather want the best the person could do then nothing..Take relationship as the next example. There was people out there that want the whole package – marriage, children, career etc and if they do not get that, they do not want anything. Maybe they dreamed of children and that is fine, people do want children and if people did not then humans would not be around today but do they really have to have everything else and not what they actually wanted* ?
Or what about smoking. Smoking is a bad thing, yes (wo not get into the debate about second hand smoke) but do you really have to either have it all or none. Really think about it. Do you have to keep smoking and if you ca not do that then do not to smoke at all. Smoking is bad yes, but smoking now and then if it helps you relax is a good thing. It is like drinking (alcohol). You do not have to keep drinking or not drink at all. Having drinks if it relaxes you or you do it with some friends, family or whomever else while watching a game is fine. Just as long as you go overboard.
It is all a matter of self control and deciding what we actually want in life and not what others forces onto us.
*Do not bother saying religion related reasons, my point stands. If they wanted children and they ca not get married then they have to decide which one. Children or none.
