I am sure as a reader you have either watched Playing Games with Snat, heard about it or have found this link via Google as you are doing your own Lets Play or having problems overlaying audio with footage.
If you are having this problem then carry on reading and if not, why are you here?
The main problem most people have (and the same one I did) is assuming that the audio is recorded as a fix length of time – aka if you recorded 30 minutes of gaming footage and 30 minutes of commentary that it will overlay without any problems. This is not exactly true as I have discovered sampling is what really matters and then secondly making sure audio is recorded without any skips. (more…)
After quite a long delay with Tweaked for your Viewing Pleasure I am pleased to say it is now coming back although it will no longer be weekly as originally planned but “as and when”.
Tweaked for your Viewing Pleasure will be coming back in two forms – the reviews and the rants which both have their own style of editing and other things I am sure you do not care about.
For the reviews I will be carrying on as I normally have – just get something, whack it in front of the camera and then review it in a half arse way – much like how Dr Ashens does them which is what my reviews are influenced by. The next one though is the rants and honestly I figured I would go back to the original idea I had for them – allow people to give ideas! (more…)
If you remember back just less than a year ago, I wrote an article called Part 1: How to do a Let’s Play. Well today is the second part and this one goes into the software side of things. As before I am going to go over a range of prices. This article also assumes you want to do live voice recording and not recording afterwards but the same counts for those that do – you will just need to step a bit.
To find out the prices just open the link below in a new window and you will find them right away. (more…)
It has been a few months now from when I started using WordPress Jetpack for email updates and honestly, it sucks. I am unable to limit which post it sends out, which categories and hell, I can’t delay the sending of it.
What this means is I am switching back to Feedburner for email updates. Now I have seen that there is actually more people on Feedburner than WordPress Jetpack but for those that may have never signed up for the old Feedburner emails you can do so here: Subscribe to Tweaked for your Pleasure by Email.
I will be updating the site to change the email subscription to Feedburner but will be enabling it for the next article. I will leave the old one running for a while and then will slowly get rid of it. I would import the old emails myself, but ethically for those that didn’t sign up for Feedburner would be signing up for something they never want and that is spam. (more…)
Okay so you have seen a series like Playing Games with Snat and maybe you have thought – I would love to do one of these myself and have looked up and seen there is millions of ways to do it. Well you are in a bit of luck as due to me not having anything to speak about, I decided to talk about how I got around the problems I had.
I should note that I went down a hardware route as I do console games but I do also use the same setup for PC games in the future. This guide will assume you have nothing so far, not even a PC, but relax as I will even explain that. I will also note the price for it all but it may not exactly be cheap but where possible, I will link to cheaper or free places. (more…)
Yesterday I published the following news and there has been some “wondering” related to it. In case you missed the news, I have posted it again below.
I have been informed that there is a few copyright issues on the videos of Wrights Productions and this includes Tweaked for your Viewing Pleasure for certain reasons.
This is not however bad news for my fans. For your pleasure I am going to be re-uploading these to my YouTube account (remember originally I never was able to upload long videos) but will be editing them to fix them up at parts. These will include the new modern intro, HD resolution although it will be on a dolphin backdrop and the start of each video will be re-done to state what happened.
And I said in an old news article page (Watching the same shit all over again) that Snat’s vBlog was being canceled. Well as of today the final Snat’s vBlog has been uploaded and can now be viewed on YouTube or by visiting the Snat’s vBlog page. For those people that may have enjoyed Snat’s vBlog you will be able to find the ranting side of it in Tweaked for your Viewing Pleasure: The Rants which may actually be updated often depending how bored I am.
Also on a sad note, Playing Games with Snat: Dragonball Z Legacy of Goku 2 is currently on hold due to technical issues. I will be carrying on with Final Fantasy VI Advance until further notice. For those too lazy to click a link, here is the last vBlog. (more…)
As you may know it has got to the point where editing Playing Games with Snat is now taking over 11 hours. This is due to a computer setup which I need to change. As I promised people when I first said about a new computer, I am opening up a donation for anyone that wishes to donate towards the cost I have left to pay.
Your donation will go towards a new computer which will be solely used for editing Playing Games with Snat. So what is in it for you. Well the main thing that is in it for you is simply Playing Games with Snat will be published on time and in future I will be able to do actual HD games as due to the current setup – that is next to impossible without taking around 2 hours per clip (on average, one clip – 5 mins). (more…)
