So the other day I submitted a ticket to the former web host of Snat.co.il stating that the website was offline yet again and that I wanted to know the reasoning why. So after a few ticket replies debating at them, I then asked for a refund as they have been offline for quite a while and quite often.

Being fair, I asked for a refund based on the actual amount of downtime so we can then call it quits and move on but then and not surprisingly, three things happen. The first is the web host then points in their terms of service that no refund for any reasons. The second is they then shutdown my vps I had with them because it went against their terms of service (which part, they did not point out) and then they debated that due to my website (Snat.co.il) was not even developed at the time but simply online that it does not matter anyway if it was online or not and that I was a “Ben Zonah” (Son of a whore and yes if you can not tell, this is a provider that sells VPSes in Israel).

Regardless of all that this is not the place to go on further about all that, Webhosting Talk will be the place to read that soon but after debating with them for ages they finally decided in offering credit. Now it is always nice to see a company trying to fix things but why the fuck would I stay with them after they decided it was not worth bothering with my VPS due to no actual website on-line (would not like to know what they do to customers that uses their VPS for other things then just web sites) but then they have the insult to say – here you go, here is credit to carry on with our shitty service

Having originally being designed to allow people to easily write, it takes up too much space today when devices are getting smaller and smaller. Dotsies is little different to how the Arabic numbering system replaced the old roman numeral (such as how we write 12345 and not MMMMMMMMMMMMCCCXLV).

The main change as I am sure you seen in the image above is that each letter has now been changed into dots (and a further small dot for capital letters). As I am sure you will see this ends up allowing more text to be displayed at any given time which is again useful for small devices. I am going to show you in a minute some sample text but remember that this is read exactly the same as English – nothing changes other than what is used to write the letter in the first place so all you need to learn what dot is what which is something you could learn in 30 minutes if you put your mind to it.

Now I am sure two things just popped into your mind. The first is that how are you even meant to be able to read it. First is when you are first learning it you would have the text larger until you gotten good at reading it at which point you then start to make it smaller and smaller like modern-day text (same way as when you learnt your first writing language).

The second thing you are likely thinking is how the hell you even learn to read it. Well good news due to you do not actually have to learn a new language – it is pretty easy. Pop over to Dotsies and with some effort and time you will be able to read it easily – I have and already working on getting my PDA to use this.

I have been informed that there is a few copyright issues on the videos of Wrights Productions and this includes Tweaked for your Viewing Pleasure for certain reasons.

This is not however bad news for my fans. For your pleasure I am going to be re-uploading these to my YouTube account (remember originally I never was able to upload long videos) but will be editing them to fix them up at parts. These will include the new modern intro, HD resolution although it will be on a dolphin backdrop and the start of each video will be re-done to state what happened.

For this reason, Playing Games with Snat will be slowed down until I do them all so expect a PGWS maybe once a week rather than twice a week.

Now we will skip the part about Wrights Productions as he will sort that out and it is none of our problems. What has happened is some videos for Tweaked for your Viewing Pleasure has somewhat “debatable” copyrighted content and some have now started flagging up on YouTube.

For the record for those that do not understand, any video now on my official channel (Snat’s YouTube Crap) is fine. Tweaked for your Viewing Pleasure is all fine, Playing Games with Snat has some claims for its music which is fine, The’Dog gets claims for the music which is fine (ads only display on the video) and one Snat’s vBlog has a music claim on it (again, is fine).

It is the videos that is hosted at Popmanw’s channel for Tweaked for your Viewing Pleasure that is having the issues (aka, the original old videos). So what I am doing is simply going to re-edit these videos to make sure there is no issues with copyright and all that and then upload them onto my channel from the link above.

So quick questions for those that asked me last night before 3G died.

Will you keep making videos?

Yes

Does this mean all your videos are gone?

No. It means they will all end up on my account.

Will the old ones still stay?

This article is a part of three so it will all make sense when you read them all. Anyhow the other day I was speaking to Cassie after she read Tweaked for your Pleasure and asked about why every article seem to be about people who are “big scary meanies” and nothing that shows the world can be fun and all that. She then went on saying I could write one about the time I “last felt like a child” and write about that.

Well she confused me enough to actually think about what she means. Did she mean when last time I felt scared, helpless, afraid or did she mean the last time I was happy, playful or excited about something. So I thought about those options and decided at the end none of them actually defines what a child is as adults do the same too. So surely she may have meant the last time I was physically a child.

So finally giving in to my curious thoughts, I contacted her over instant messaging about what she meant. After she tried to black mail in helping her with her science homework, she went on to tell me a story about how I once supervised her primary school class at a massive play ground after they visited a zoo. So I went on to tell her how there was a massive slide with all the children afraid to go down. I then went on to saying that I remember how was afraid to go down and finally did.

It was that this point Cassie then asked me if I remember why and I could not remember exactly why. Well as Cassie explained, here is a little story (I have filled in the gaps from my memory after this chat).

So many years ago I was apart of the group supervising children at a small play pen area and apart of the rules stated that someone had to be inside with the children. So having taken the task onto myself, I went into the massive play pen.

So to start I was just watching them play but slowly children started throwing little plastic balls at me and another member of staff with a different group. The other person started moaning and saying why children should not be allowed in there, I decided to pick one of the balls and playfully thrown it back.

So after a while and some children asking for an extra number in their groups, I decided to pop in and play. What amazed me though is how many of the other staff kept calling me childish and should grow up but I still remember to this day, why?

I have still yet to work out why that is childish for. I fail to see why having fun is childish compared to something like drinking in a pub getting drunk is how I was “meant” to have fun. With this in mind I kept playing and the children had a really happy time.

Now we skip two hours of the story. In this play pen there was a massive slide. A slide that was basically was vertical. For a rough idea what it looked like, picture below but imagine tons of plastic balls at the bottom.

So one by one the children went up to have a go at what was called the “demon slide” and none of them was able to go down. So Cassie decided to go up and like the others, looked down and worried and came back down. It was quite disappointing to see them upset over it when Cassie came up with a perfect plan.

“Ask Kyle. He is brave enough to go down!”

So Cassie came running over with smiling eyes with her friends and kept telling me how I should go down it. Seeing how upset they was and how they really wanted to go down it but was afraid. So I figured if I went down once and show them it wasn’t scary, they would go down.

So having finally got up there and looked down I suddenly thought

“Shit”

So there I was standing at the top and just like the children, panic took hold of me and the only thing I wanted to do was step back and go down to the safety of the plastic balls. The only difference between me and the children that could not go down was simply our physical sizes.

So having standing there for a few minutes I decided that the slide must be safe and then started to work out the physics which ended up as I would simply curve up half way and slide down safely. With everything I have done, everything I have done without a second thought I was suddenly frozen with fear (having visited the Oblivion and yawning all the way down on it, having held blades, martial arts combat, physical combat and others). After deciding the physics was fine and I would not get hurt, I decided to just step forward and “just let it be”.

So after sliding down to the bottom, all the children was clapping and started running up to the top and slowly started to slide down one by one. However Cassie walked over with tears and told me that she still could not go down and asked.

“Will you slide down with me?”

At this point I figured why not. So having going up with Cassie, we both went down the slide and she ended up very happy and cheerful that she did it (and went down it a few times afterwards).

After we all got back onto the bus, Cassie sat next to me and said.

“So anything fear can be broken by all walking forward?”

Well to this day I never answered her question. As I know she reads Tweaked for your Pleasure and her friends also do, this is your answer.

“Yes”

All you got to do is try to just do it. If you fail, then you just fail.

Well Cassie’s question still bothers me up to writing this. When was I last a child?

Well if I was to answer that, it is this. It does not matter. I have always done what I have enjoyed and will always do so. If people enjoy drinking in pubs with friends then so be it. If you fancy playing with plastic balls and demon slides then go ahead.

So what do you think she meant about last being a child as honestly, I can not really work out what she means.

I am sure everyone remembers “That Russian Guy” who caused the issue about this domain (Not for Sale), spammed on Just a Community, posted porn and somewhat questionable porn on Just a Community in the hope that Tweaked for your Pleasure will close down so that I will hand over the domain to him to pass onto the person he sold it too in the first place.

I am pleased to say that as of now he has been arrested.

Firstly Google Adsense is not and never has been a method to get quick rich by simply just placing adverts on a website and expecting the money to start rolling in. There is a few key things you need to do before you can even think about earning anything from Google Adsense.

1. Traffic

The first major thing is simply traffic. Do not expect a website with little traffic to even have a shot at earning anything beyond a couple of pennies a month. Ideally you want to have two types of traffic. The first type of traffic you want is repeated traffic.

While repeated traffic is great, people who often visit a website slowly become used to the adverts on a webpage and typically avoid looking at them and thus ultimately avoid clicking them. This type of traffic is good for getting a high amount of traffic but not so good for making an income from them.

The next type of traffic is new visitors and this is the one who are more likely to look at adverts. You will get this traffic from back links from other websites and search engines. To get back links from other websites you will need good content which people will naturally link too (although in this modern-day, people seem to be much less likely to link to people) or send your links to websites without spamming. How to do that, I will leave you to search for yourself.

2. Content

This is what I feel is the key most important thing in the thing. There is two parts on content. The first is writing things that people will actually read, want to read, read again and will come back to read more.

The second part is writing content with advert in mind. What I mean by this is writing using keywords that relates to what you are writing about. So in your writing you will use high paying keywords that Google Adsense is likely to pick up and based your adverts around.

Overall however the first type of content is the single most important part. Do not write solely with making money in mind or you will be writing content that people are not interested in and would be just wasting your time.

Overall

So to sum everything up. If you are expecting to make money with Google Adsense or any other form of adverts first you will need good content that people will enjoy and people would read over and over.

Once you have done this you then want to focus on getting your website known. Once your website is known and only if you get loads of traffic you can then look at putting Google Adsense on it and starting making some money.

Google Adsense is and never has been a quick rich and involves you having to spend time every day of every week. Do in other words – do not think you will make loads of money in a few days with Google Adsense – expect years to see an income from it that you can rely on.

So please stop asking now.

Well this was all good but what happened is the I/O on the SAN unit went nuts and well it crashed a lot of things and forced VPS.NET to ultimately having to stop the SAN synchronization and delay it until a later time.

So at around 6:30pm everything started to come back online. However that was not the end of it as all my databases decided to crash and messed up. I fixed them at around 9pm and everything is still working up to now.

This said there seems there will be more downtime coming but this is expected downtime in which I will get another system to take the load for a while. The email below is about the up and coming downtime that was sent from vps.net.

In case you do not know but Look at my Spam is a website that is a small project to find how easy it was to get spammed by just leaving one email link at the bottom of a website. Well I can say safety so far with the project, I am getting roughly five emails a minute. Some of the emails are coming from Yahoo groups, random marketing and some people who feels it is funny to email stuff there hoping their email will be published on the website.

You have to remember that email is never used on anything so any email sent to it you can safety say is spam and non agreed too. Anyway that is it for today – there is no rant or anything today so come back another time.

In the past I was thinking of doing something like “who can comment the most” or “who can do X the most” and then I was thinking of something like “Try to work out what X means” and while the second one is very interesting, I have found many people simply are not able to work it out.

So I thought for some time what could be a fun contest which would both be interesting to see and would actually allow people to think but also for anyone to enter. With all this in mind I have decided to start a contest so welcome too….

The idea of the contest is very simply – all you do is take something I have written, reviewed or rant about and then change it in any way that makes it better than the original. So if you wanted to let say take any of my articles such as Zombies Apocalypse and then either do something like rewriting it, or heck even turning it into a video.

Kentucky Salty Chicken

As many people may know from reading Tweaked for your Pleasure, I do tend to eat a lot of fast food and other non healthy food. I am sure many of the reasons why people do tend to these food like this is mostly for two reasons;

1. They do not have time to make healthier food (although it is NOT that hard nor long to do).
2. They believe that the “healthy” food does not taste as good.

While I can understand the first option, it is the second option I do not understand. While I will agree food like that does taste very nice but it does not last. Now I am not sure if I am the only person who this happens too but when I am eating something like chips & cheese that I will enjoy while a lot of it but after a while I start to get a salty sickly taste that will start to appear.

While I am sure people will say this will happen to any food, I have found out that if I eat what people “believe” as healthy food I tend to find that I enjoy every bite until the end and this is regardless how much of it I actually eat.

So if this is the case with many people – what I can not figure out is why would you prefer eating non healthy food over healthy food when ultimately that healthy food ends up always tasting better. Sure I can understanding having the “non healthy” stuff in small doses or with the healthy food but why keep eating the non healthy stuff when it end up tasting worst then the healthy stuff?

So what is your reason for it. Do you prefer healthy food over non healthy food, or do you just eat whatever you can find in the cupboards?
