Tweaked for your Pleasure

As off this blog post, Tweaked for your Pleasure is now using WordPress 2.7 RC1. Personally, all I can say is “wow”.

It looks so much cleaner, everything is where it needs to be. Now, I could bore you with all the different stuff that WordPress 2.7 has to offer but instead, I will show you.

If you are anything like me, you are likely very annoyed with having to keep checking up on websites to see if they have updated so I have setup a solution to your problems

Tweaked for your Pleasure has the following so you can sync with updates.

• RSS
• Twitter
• E-mails

If you wish to use RSS, just put http://snat.co.uk/feed/ into your RSS reader and enjoy reading our updates. Also, our RSS has a link so that you are able to comment on the posts.

Now, if you are a Twitter fan, you can now Twitt me. Not only do you get updates about Tweaked for your Pleasure, but you also get updates for my personal site and random updates on what I am up too.

Also, while we are talking about updates that Tweaked for your Pleasure will soon be using WordPress 2.7 RC1 so that I can help iron out some few bugs but I am not sure if everything will work (Forum etc). I will be testing it first however and we will you what is happening.

In our quest of giving you the best content that you wish you read. While RSS and Twitter was the first step, it ain’t the final. So now, you are able to get updates by your IM client. So if you want updates and you have an IM client then what better way of doing it then by getting them via IM

Well, seeing that I am at the publisc libary, I decided to check if I got any new comments but sadly, I found out that the British Public Libary doesn’t like my site. Now, before I post why, there was a time where Tweaked for your Pleasure used to be viewed alot at public libaries and public places like schools, colleges and even work places.

Now, I can understand the swearing but .EXE for download, where the hell is that. I own the site, I think I knwo it better that most people do. Anyway, if you find a .EXE post it as a comment, maybe they are right

Now, a question on my mind is that I plan on now updating Tweaked for your Pleasure once a week but I ain’t sure which day to do it on.

Right, if you have noticed you might see alot of this site is now gone.

Now, don’t run and think this place is now different as it honestly ain’t. Now, I have got rid of alot of stuff that honestly was never used and caused this site to overload most servers that it went on. Now, this is a very bad thing as this site should just run on a shared hosting and rather then having a massive slow site, I got rid of things that was never used.

Now, the forums is still up and still doubles as the comments for these posts. Also, all the links works again. Another feature that was removed was the auto translator for this site which used to be on the far right. Now, I will replace this with something else soon so no worries about that.

I have also removed all the shit in the source code as all of that helped to slow down the site.

That aside, this site will now be updated alot more with things written by me or friends and not random shit that used to come from that game thing and such.
I hope you enjoy reading this site as much as I do writting it.

Welcome back to Tweaked for your Pleasure.

I am sorry for the downtime this website had but it was blocked and by the time I got around to unblocking, there was an issue with the datacenter that used to host this system.

Regardless, Tweaked for your Pleasure is now back online and I will be posting each week and getting this site back up and running in no time

As many of you knows, I used to allow people to login via OpenID. People may have noticed that I turned it off when I started using a forum based system for comments however people may now be happy to know that you can now login using your OpenID and you will be able to post on the forums etc like a member that signed up.

You might have noticed that this site actually loads very quickly. Reason being is that Snat.co.uk is now back safety on UDL’s Network. Cutting a long story short, but it is now back here. There are gonna be some changes made to this site.

First, is a clean up of the main site itself. It is gonna look cleaner and plugins that are no longer used are going to be removed. A few ads are gonna be are moved about so that they don’t bother you lot as much.

However, thank you for putting up with us during this time

I have made some changes to this site and may or may not notice them. I have brought back the free weekly game from BlueFish as, according to stats, people enjoyed checking it out and therefore I have brought that back. Please remember that it is auto posted and sadly, it doesn’t create a forum topic so you can’t comment on it.

I have removed my Twitter updates from the site as it was slowing this site down and I honestly got bored of e-mails saying this website is slow. In it’s place, I have brought back the search box so you can now search for posts. Even if the post don’t exist, search for it and you never know.

Also, I am gonna try and update this blog often and every week I am planning to do a “What would Snat do”. “What would Snat do” is where people can post a question or an issue that they might have and I will post what I would do if I was you. No names etc will be shown without permission.

Next thing is that I am planning on bring back the arcade that people used to enjoy but sadly bandwidth issues got in the way. Also, I am looking for some guest bloggers so if you have an article or two or even if you want to do a weekly post, contact me via e-mail at webmaster <{at}> snat . co . uk.

It ain’t a hidden fact that if your website is slow you are going to lose people that used to visit your website.

Long gone are the days of dialup. Back in the dialup days, you could get away with a slow-ish site as move people internet connections was slow but nowadays, that ain’t the case.

In regards to this message and the slowest of this website that I will be moving this website back onto Ultima Development Laboratories network. However this means that the website will be down for a bit (E-mails will still be up) however if I do it right, there will be no downtime at all

However, in light of this. I have learnt that the unlikely of people actually reads this site so thanks for reading
