In case you do not know but Look at my Spam is a website that is a small project to find how easy it was to get spammed by just leaving one email link at the bottom of a website. Well I can say safety so far with the project, I am getting roughly five emails a minute. Some of the emails are coming from Yahoo groups, random marketing and some people who feels it is funny to email stuff there hoping their email will be published on the website.

You have to remember that email is never used on anything so any email sent to it you can safety say is spam and non agreed too. Anyway that is it for today – there is no rant or anything today so come back another time.

In the past I was thinking of doing something like “who can comment the most” or “who can do X the most” and then I was thinking of something like “Try to work out what X means” and while the second one is very interesting, I have found many people simply are not able to work it out.

So I thought for some time what could be a fun contest which would both be interesting to see and would actually allow people to think but also for anyone to enter. With all this in mind I have decided to start a contest so welcome too….

Remaster the master in January 2012

The idea of the contest is very simply – all you do is take something I have written, reviewed or rant about and then change it in any way that makes it better than the original. So if you wanted to let say take any of my articles such as Zombies Apocalypse and then either do something like rewriting it, or heck even turning it into a video.

How you change it is purely up to you as long as it is related to the content that is found on Tweaked for your Pleasure. You have until the end of next month. Please send everything to me. So if you do an article, email it to me. If you make a video then upload it to somewhere like Rapidshare and then email it to me – you get the idea.

The winner will be picked by me, so go.

… oh what you want to know what the winner gets? Well the winner can have something up to £30 cash value I suppose.

The legal bit

Anything you make for this contest you agree NOT to publish it anywhere and that I have the full rights over whatever you create for the contest. You also agree that anything you enter I am allowed to publish and edit your creation in any way I wish – you will be credited for.

Anything you create for the contest MUST be clearly referred (such as text / link that says Original Article: Article Name – Tweaked for your Pleasure). Beyond using my content for this contest, you have no right to publish or edit my content in any way. You agree that everything created is to be sent to me only and never published anywhere else unless I agree in advance. 

So for now I have removed IntenseDebate and have left the default comment form up and running for those that still wishes to comment and to replies to others on it. I am not sure how long I may keep the comments for but if you like commenting, post a comment on this news article and tell me what you like about the comments.

As I said before to people – I have nothing wrong with people who wish to comment but the website is starting to look empty with blank comments and yes, that is my reasoning on why to remove it. Another reason is simply because I get so much spam and little legit comments I am starting to feel it is not worth having the comments and then there is the issue with people emailing me their comments rather than using the comment form.

As I am sure you know Jesus is a central figure within Christianity and Christians views him as the Messiah that is foretold within the Tanakh that was born in roughly c. 5 BCE and died roughly in c. 30 CE (or AD if you prefer) and Christians believe he is the son of G’d. Christians also believe he provided salvation and reconciliation with G’d to the whole of mankind by dying for their sins and then ultimately raising himself from the dead. Oh and he is important to the Islamic faith but no one really gives a shit about them.

Even if you was not the son of G’d or if you was not even real, you have spread a message of peace and hope to many and that is enough for me to say happy birthday to you.

So a message to all peeps out there on Tweaked for your Pleasure which is – Merry Christmas everybody and none of that sessions greeting crap. Rather then checking Tweaked for your Pleasure just go out and see your family, your friends and anyone else you may know. Even go and visit that person down the road who may not meet anyone else otherwise.

Just remember not everyone has someone to see,  so go on and meet them and give them a Christmas to remember. Oh and do remember there are some people still on Just a Community so do drop off a Merry Christmas or two there.

It is this time again where Hanukkah comes around and everyone plays with dreidels and bet chocolate coins and quietly wishes the other player messes up so you get to eat all of their coins and then find out those was real ones.

The provider itself means little to you lot but what does this actually mean to you.

Well the first thing is you will need to re-sign up for email subscriptions which you will be able to find on the side of any articles on Tweaked for your Pleasure such as this one. While you will not need a WordPress.com user accountto sign up for email updates, if you do sign up you will be able to control your subscription emails by stopping them, changing your email and so for and you also are then able to log into this website to comment much like the old usernames in the past.

Beyond that the having to re-sign up for the email subscriptions that nothing really changes. I would import the old subscriptions over but WordPress.com does not seem to allow me to import an old list.

For now the old email subscriptions will run for a while but I recommend you to sign up to the new emails in the coming weeks else you will lose out on new updates when I decide to finally turn the old ones off.

Well when I got around to stopping doing Tweaked for your Viewing Pleasure for a while, this also sadly stopped. Well while I am currently having a small “internal” debate about if I should use it for the credits or not.

Anyhow while it may or may not be used, Richard is now carrying this on as their own videos and can now be found on The’Dog page on Tweaked for your Pleasure. Unlike last time, you are now able to request these but please keep them YouTube friendly.

The first thing you will noticed is I have changed the layout. The layout now allows you to access the content of Tweaked for your Pleasure far better. One of the biggest complaints I got on this website was the rants, news and videos are all merged onto the index page and annoyed those that did not want to see those things. So with this in mind I have changed the way the website is viewed. On the home page there is now three links (also more links top right, if you look closely) which allows you to access the rants, the news updates like these and my videos.

So if you liked reading about was my rants then now you can simply just click the rant button or bookmark the URL. As I am sure you seen, once you access the rant page you will see it then works much like the original Tweaked for your Pleasure. All new videos will be published in the news section while the video section will automatically update with a link to YouTube.

The second major changes is the mass deletion of articles. I have deleted many articles that was not really a rant or something and well, I was not even sure what they was. While I am quite sure many of you will blow it way out of the water and moan everything is changing or something – I am opening up Snat’s Blog Archives. And yes, it is being called Snat’s Blog Archives rather then TFYP Archives as most of the stuff on it pre-dates back when it was called Snat’s Blog or pre 2007 stuff.

The next major change is going back to IntenseDebate for the comments. I know some of you did not like IntenseDebate but seeing I no longer am in need of any users to be able to sign up or even login beyond me updating the website, IntenseDebate allows many more features that people want such as emailing comments, replying to comments via emails and all that while at the same time allows me to serve comments on Tweaked for your Pleasure better.

So to sum it up. There been a “major-ish” layout change, content moved to a sub domain and comments changed – see, I made you read a lot of useless text.
