Blocked by Etisalat – I ain’t surpised
It is really lovely when you get a fan mail from someone that accesses your site and says how much they liked it. What I like better, is when they give feedback about the site. What I don’t like is when you get an e-mail saying that the website is blocked. Blocked websites are a part of a website’s life and not alot I can do about it (other then changing the content or begging the person whom blocked it and I ain’t doing either). So, I got an e-mail saying that my website was blocked by the ISP Etisalat.
Now, I am guessing that it was blocked either due to the Hebrew language, Anti-Islam statements and alot of other fair right stuff that doesn’t seem to be cared about in most of the Middle East. Incase anyone wants to know what it looks like if your site is banned, I was given this image. So far, I have been blocked in most of the Middle East, China (or used to be) and the British Public Libary (at the time of publishing this post, it has been unblocked).
