As you may know, Geocities is no longer allowing any new signups to it. Geocities was a very basic free webhost in which you could just host HTML pages. I used it myself for one site and later on this year, there will be a notice on how to move all your files over to their paid Yahoo solution (I wouldn’t advice it however).

So, what can you do in the mean time ?

Well, you can keep using it until you get that message or you can download your HTML pages and move them and place a re-direct. Either way, farewell Geocities – One of the best free host that existed.

It is really lovely when you get a fan mail from someone that accesses your site and says how much they liked it. What I like better, is when they give feedback about the site. What I don’t like is when you get an e-mail saying that the website is blocked. Blocked websites are a part of a website’s life and not alot I can do about it (other then changing the content or begging the person whom blocked it and I ain’t doing either). So, I got an e-mail saying that my website was blocked by the ISP Etisalat.

So, there is a new site in town which allows you to chat to random people. So, I went on and decided to see how Omegle went. Look below to see the replies I got and my comments

You’re now chatting with a random stranger. Say hi!
Stranger: PEZ?
You: Shalom
Stranger: Juuuude.
Your conversational partner has disconnected.

So, that didn’t end well. So, next time I try again to see if the same happened.
