Win32/Conficker.C Virus

Okay, another year and another April Fools but this time, this one is already affecting ya and well, might fuck ya over. I would advice that you try and access this website – http://safety.live.com.

Should that not be working for you, I would advice that you scan your system for Win32/Conficker.C Virus NOW. Use Google to search for it and you should find a download link that will allow you to remove the virus. It is wise to get yourself scanned now for it.

Do it asap, really. Windows XP Service 2 and higher has a patch and hopefully, you already have it.

And who said Linux CLI can’t do everything

I am not sure if you know, but Linux is an operating system that was based on UNIX and during it’s time, a GUI was developed for it. However, unlike other operating systems like Windows, Linux carried on developing the CLI along side with the GUI.

As you know, Linux is opensource (If anyone here tells me that Linux should actually be called GNU/Linux, please just close this browser now, I don’t care ;) ) and therefore anyone can add to it. Over time where the internet and tech changed wit the likes of video, the CLI didn’t change and there wasn’t a need to as the GUI could make this possible.

YouTube UK Music Ban

As you can imagine, a high majority of videos on Googles YouTube include some form of music. A high majority of this music is from the UK. Due to Google declining a contract with a licensing company PRS that holds licenses for various music record labels, UK will loose access to all premium music videos as of Monday evening (9 March 09).

This will dramatically affect the viewings and general useage of YouTube and PRS have asked Google to reconsider there option as a matter of urgancy.
