Windows XP – You had a good run

Well Windows XP, you had a good run. You was welcomed to many hearts (Many, not all) and you will still be used for years to come.

Now some of my readers may know that I don’t like Windows but Windows XP is a good operating system that was simple to use and to look at. As I posted this post, Microsoft has now decided to stick to their plan to stop people from buying Windows XP licences on 31 January 2008.

Never the less, you can still use your old licences and you do have Service Pack 3 to look forward to (I have a review for this when I can be bothered to write it up ). Also for users of Windows Vista RC – Remember that is runs out soon so either downgrade or upgrade (and too do that, you need to buy a FULL version and not a upgrade version – but I believe there is a patch to allow it or some German kid will make one).

So, on a final note. Farewell Windows XP and lets hope that Windows Vista will actually be used by someone.

Windows XP to be retired!…

Well, Microsoft did mess up with Windows Vista and they do need to make the money back so they just stop people from buying Windows XP and force people to upgrade should they need support and such…….
